SpaceJade 1.2.2 – CE OS 5.2.3822

 

Hi all,
after working hard for so many weeks and the last days spent in testing this release, it’s now time to share with the Jade community here @ XDA my own new ROM based on WM6.5 Pro. In my opinion it seems to be stable and fast, a good balance between new look, performance, stability and new HTC stuff.

This ROM is based on the final & official WM6.5 Pro build 21889, WWE 0409 localization and you can choose between two versions, the Lite and the Standard ones.
Because of I really like iContact, I had also include this iPhone looks like MS contact replacement, you can choose to use it or not.

Differences between Lite and Standard version

The only difference between versions is the “software bundle”, in the Lite version I also removed the following modules & packages:

From HTC OEM Packages Folder:
AdobeReader, AudioBooster, Facebook, Java, LongPressEndKey, RandomAccess, RSSHub, Streaming Media, Voice Recorder, BTSAP, OOBE, IME Tutorial

How to install
You need Touch 3G Hard-SPL (HardSPLV5.2 now) for this ROM. Your Tricolor bootloader screen have to show 2.xx.olinex, to check it switch off jade; press volume down key and power key to go to bootloader. For more info Jade / Touch 3G Hard-SPL

Use shipped RUU or customRUU to flash the cooked ROM

Version of the V66, WM6.1 with Manila2D for HTC Touch and Touch 2 (ELF & ELFin), characteristics:
– Develop and edit version of the V65 have been introduced.

Basically, the V66 on the interface and application is not much compared with other V65 however OS has been changing the structure so the amount of RAM and ROM has increased significantly.

WWM 6.5.3 Ralphusion **RaL.GT1K** Lite ROM

 

 

This new ROM is a clean slate ROM and the first batch of my own cooked

kitchen set with utensils et al, merged, sorted and built from scratch. With a number of speed tweaks to further increase the speed of this ROM, I’ve also added some enhancements like Auto Date/Time Picker from Cell site, Unattended Installation upto 2nd Boot, Full support for XDAUC with a multitude of user customization options. I’ll be working on more mods and enhancements with future builds.

I need to mention that that I was earlier using l3v5y’s kitchen for all ROMs before version GT1G and has been an inspiration and guide for some time now. Of course the likes of Da_G will always be in our mentors list.

I would also like to extend my thanks to Makeveral (incredibly efficient BsB ROM and his useful apps), Mr Makk (awesome tutorials), Ervius (kitchen) and yozgatg (packages and Android Bootloader) for their extended work in XDA, and last but not least, all users of my ROM who have given me valuable inputs and feedback, needless to say without which I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere with my ROMs.

Before I make this sound like an Oscars speech, here goes the latest ROM.

So folks, version K finally here after a long hiatus. K has some noticeable bug fixes, some minor new adds, apart from which it is pretty stable as always. Do note that there might still be some minor quirks (like some bottom icons not showing in the edit contact screen). Unfortunately I really haven’t had the chance to look into them.

Amongst the noted fixes though, we have the scroll wheel working now, it skipped my earlier build for reasons unknown. The auto rotate which was never really in good books with me, works throughout the device now thanks to Zensor 2 which has been added as a UC option. There are other minor pieces which improves performance as well as an experimental game fix which I picked from the forum but haven’t tested yet, which attempts to fix some of the games reported to not work. A revert on the OpenGL drivers should pay providence to some of the reported OpenGL apps not working too (although I haven’t tested them either).

All in all this ROM should be a better ROM (not all that different though) than the previous ones. Let me know how it goes.

Bugs found:
– wifi auto star
to fix this bug go to setting and keep it off mode that’it.
